About Me
I am a budding lyric Soprano who is currently studying the Royal Conservatory of Music of Canada curriculum combined with the ABRSM curriculum out of the UK. I studied under Dr. James Whitbourn (Oxford), Dr. Edward Higginbottom FRCO (Oxford), Robert Quinney (Oxford), and Stephen Darlington MBE (Cambridge) at Oxford University for an Undergrad Summer Choral program at St Stephen’s College.
I have also attended Masterclasses with Jane Eaglen, Dr. Deen Larsen, Delores Ziegler and Deborah Voight that my professor Heather Meyers organized. I was accepted to participate in both the Cardiff Competition and the Montserrat Caballe Competition early in my education but was unable to attend due to my advocacy work around CSA. I also attended Masterclasses with Montserrat Caballe, Maestro Salvatore Fisichella, Jack Livigni and Alexia Voulgaridou.
I hope to attend L’Ecole Normale de Paris in the future. I record my practice sessions as #10000HoursTowardsProficiency on YouYube to show the process of becoming a proficient lyric soprano.
